What types of membership does pascack valley swim club offer?

There are several memberships: bonded, non-bonded, weekend/holiday, senior citizen, single senior citizen, single and twilight. There are also different memberships based upon the size of the family. For a breakdown of options, click here.

What are the benefits of a bonded membership?

Bonded members are entitled to lower seasonal dues, free swim lessons, discounted guest pass and party rates, full voting rights, and opportunities to serve on the Board of Trustees. New bonded members may pay their bond over three years.

Do you offer swim lessons?

PVSC offers members and non-members Swim Lessons taught by American Red Cross-certified lifeguards. The swim lessons run 30 minutes long, twice a week for the month of July. In accordance with NJ Board of Health codes, children must be fully potty trained to participate in swim lessons. Can I come to PVSC on a day pass?

PVSC is a private swim club and is open to members and their guests only. There is no day pass available, but members are welcome to bring in guests for a day for a fee. Open House is held every Friday in June when non-members can try the club for a fee per person (free for children 12 months or younger).*ALL OPEN HOUSE DATES ARE CANCELLED THIS SEASON DUE TO COVID-19

What activities does the PVSC offer?

The PVSC has a Swim and Dive team that competes with other local New Jersey swim clubs. We also have raft days once a month, games on holidays and special activities that vary each month. On club grounds, we have a swing set, playground, basketball court, knock hockey tables, ping pong tables, and shuffleboard. There’s also a fierce adult volleyball match most afternoons. *ACTIVITIES ARE RESTRICTED THIS SEASON DUE TO COVID-19

Can I bring guests to PVSC?

Members may bring guests to the swim club for a fee.

How many pools are in the facility?

We have two pools: Our Olympic-sized swimming pool goes from 3 feet to 11 feet, has a dedicated lane for lap swimming and two diving boards. Our kiddie pool goes from 1 foot to 2 feet and is fenced in for the safety of younger children.

Are children in diapers allowed in the pool?

In keeping with a Board of Health code, children who are not potty-trained are not allowed in the main pool. Children with diapers are able to use the kiddie pool if they are wearing a swim diaper. The kiddie pool is emptied every few days for sanitation.

Are rafts or “floaties” allowed in the pool?

Raft and other floatation devices are not permitted. “Floaties” — and any type of child swim aid — are prohibited from the pool at all times. These types of flotation devices give children a false sense of security and are often linked to aquatic accidents. The prohibition of these flotation devices is in keeping with a state code. The only acceptable floatation devices will have a US Coast Guard approval number printed on them.

Are the lifeguards certified?

PVSC has 10 full-time lifeguards on staff. Every lifeguard is certified in Lifesaving, CPR, and First Aid by the American Red Cross.

Can I have a party at the PVSC?

We love to party at the PVSC! Parties can be held during operating hours or you may rent the pool after hours.

Does PVSC have a concession stand?

We sell ice cream, soda, snacks and bottled water.
